What do you guys think? Personally I love the game but I've heard some mixed reviews from people. GameInformer rates it a 10/10 which I can definitely see, but there are also some things that I would like to have seen done differently. I don't know, that's just my opinion. Discuss. :D

Digital Character design is a little choppy in my opinion.

Choppy? What does that even mean? Why is character capitalized? Confuzzlement!

For my part, I played it for a bit at a friend's place and it was pretty sweet. I'm choosing to wait another month before it comes out on PC to buy it for myself, but it looked to be continuing the outstanding effort from the first game along with all the kinds of things you want from this sequel (fan service, enhanced combat, environment, quests, etc).

I do see where you're coming from. It is a little bit too stiff at times.

For the most part though I love this game and I really do hope that it wins an award this year for it. Arkham Asylum was awesome, and now Arkham City is even more awesome. I don't remember how long Asylum was but there's supposedly over 40 hours of game play time built into this game.

I'm excited to see how it ends really.

Yeah, I thought was getting somewhere in the game, and then it said I was only about 30% done. I dont know if that is talking about just the main story, of it means 30% of every playable thing in the game (Including Cat Woman)

Generally you beat an adventure game after about %75, so you're less than half way done, even less so if you like doing the collectables and easter eggs.

Also, Catwoman is just as much a part of the story as Batman, but I am extremely disappointed that they didn't give Robin and Nightwing their own side story in Arkham City. Since Robin is supposedly Damien Wayne (Bruces test-tube grown, league of assassins trained son that likes to kill things; He decapitated The Spook during his first appearance as Robin), and Nightwing is Dick Grayson; The first robin who replaced Bruce as Batman while his back was broken, whom constantly fights with Damien.

I personally own this on the 360. The game is great! Im am not too far in, about 2 hours played only. Fighting combos are much better than Arkham Asylum though!

Yeah I also own the game on the 360 and I love it. I'm going to start a new save file though and do a Let's Play on YouTube for it :D

Ya im also gonna wait til the PC port comes out. Ya it was so sad @ lunch time today because some of my co-workers couldnt understand what I was saying, so I had to say each word really slowly so they could understand me. All this right after the AC trailer came on tv. Needless to say, I guess im the only pc guy @ work. Good news is that round tax return time ill be helpin 1 of my co-workers build a beast of a machine!

I needed to upgrade my GPU for when Battlefield 3 comes out. Turned out they had an offer if you bought a GTX560 or higher that you'd receive a code for a free copy of this game when it releases. Got the code & put it in steam and now it sits in my library, waiting for when it starts to load. Should be fun...since it was FREE.

It's how I type sometimes, not that big of a deal.

Anyway, by choppy I meant that the emotion of the characters is completely absent. In the past past year, I've played games that made great attempts at showcasing differing facial expressions that helped make the characters what they were, and in a game like this (coming out in the year 2011) you'd think with all the technological abilities of today, they could at least attempt to make the characters express something.

However, I will say that I can see why they didn't put HUGE importance on it because of the amazing detail at their body movements! This game was solely designed to immerse yourself in being Batman, Catwoman, etc. I say this because jumping from building to building, beating up bad guys -- you get lost in it. It's beautiful and fantastic to watch and be Batman. They bring a lot of his abilities to life and I really loved that. I haven't gotten to play as Catwoman yet, but eventually I shall. Anyway, like I was saying, I believe they sacrificed one minute detail for a bigger detail that plays a bigger role in this game. I like the voices and the color theme the whole game is in. It's great.

I always heard good things about them but never really wanted to play them but This new one i might have to check out

Everything about this game is fantastic. I've been able to get some fantastic combos going now that i've learned all of the characters moves and combos. Playing as Catwoman is just a contrast to Batman, in a good way. Different set of animations and less takedowns, but sometimes that's better. As Batman, I might end up blowing a big combo because I'm trying to work too much stuff into it. With Catwoman, there's not so much there that you have to worry about it. The map is huge, but not so big that you would get lost once you play for a little while. Lots of re-playability. Just really, really well done. It does what it's supposed to do very well: make you feel like Batman.
