EA Finally implements Official Origin ID Changer

I already pre ordered last night thru amazon. Was $10 cheaper than Origin. And I get to pre load just like everyone else. :)

Like InkSix said, this will make A LOT of people happy. If it hadn't been for the Scrabble workaround, I'd be jumping for joy right now.
 
When I get there it says log in to change your Origin ID, I hit log in and I freeze up. O_o
 
unfortunately my names are still taken even tho i looked them up and there was no one with those names unless i had taken it previously on my old EA account and it is still counting those

and all of them were supposedly taken. Somehow, I doubt that.

I tried that too with variants of h987.... But I guess that adding in underscores, hyphens or stuff like that is too close to the original name that was "taken"
 
yea i think its glitched with certain names because i seriously doubt ppl have claimed names with Krod [insert variations of -_-_-_--_-___--] Mandoon, ive tried every single combination of underscores and hyphens in b/t krod and mandoon but none of them worked so i just went with KrodIMandoon cuz on origin a capital 'I' looks like a line break

For now myself I still got it as KKerakk, I wanted Kerak but "Sorry, this Origin ID is already taken." Anyway its actually not but I guess I used it before for some other game I think BF2 because its show on my EA profile for Battlefield so IDK. I think all I need to do is have a chat with a EA live support rep.

Oh then I had the idea of K3rak, but na
 
I hear somewhere that it counts Your Personas and that some people have had luck talking to EA support...:bored:
 
I have the same issue. I created Hendu WAY back when with EA under a different email, have Hendu in BC2 but it's 'taken' in Origin. Guess I'll see if I can add a soldier w/ my regular name. Just chatted w/ a support guy and he verified we WILL be able to have multiple soldiers.

Although, I may just stay Mr_Hendu since I'm an old guy.

Kerak, I just chatted w/ one and he said if it says taken, there's no way it can be changed or looked into. I think REALLY old EA accounts are just locked. Don't know how to go about verifying if they are actually being used or not.

You could of changed your origin name using the android game Scrabble months ago by going under settings and change your username :P My origin name was rustypwns and now it's RustyPwns

yeah something is really messed up.

I even tried _Liquid_Rider-

and all types of variations. All of them some how taken.
