New names and whatnot

I've done some searching and can't seem to find this answer. May have been in the round table but I couldn't stay for the entire thing but, what is the policy for us current admins(eGOs and eGs) that will have new names in BF3?

I'm sure it's somewhere on here but perhaps should be a sticky in this forum and in the new BF3 section if we do have one.

Still under discussion if I recall correctly from the Round Table. However, now that Origin actually has a Name Changer, as long as your name is SIMILAR to that of your forum name, there should be no issue. (I believe you got your Origin ID to be Mr_Hendu which is fine)

EA has released an Origin master ID changer. Please try to change your Origin name to match your forum name as closely as possible or if you like your Origin name better put in a forum name change request in the drop box explaining why you want to change your name.

Well, Hendu is unavailable for whatever reason eventhough there isn't a user named that. If I can't add a soldier named that, I'll move to Mr_Hendu. Not too much of a biggie.

Well, I'm kinda hoping my regular name is still mine because every EA place I log into lists my 3 names registered to me. Time will tell I guess.

Yeah Kerak said he had the same issue where he has the name Kerak as on of his soldier names from a previous Battlefield and because of that it won't let him change his Master ID to that ID. Hopefully someone can figure it out.

If you go to ea.com and log in with your account and look at your profile and scroll to bottom where you would see "Other Identities"
In this category it shows Master EA ID and your battlefield ID.

Like that. Since searching for these members that have appeared to have taken your name seemingly don't exist I assume that no one has your name. I am the only h987654321 out there and no one can take my name. Think of what you make of it but I think trying to change for example my Origin ID name to h987654321 thinks that my other identity which you can see is h987654321 is a legitimate user and won't allow you to take that name as it has already been taken... by yourself.

I actually do not know but I think it is odd.

yeah, I'm thinking I can't take Hendu because I already have it associated. It shows all 3 of my names.

That's cool, but the anticipation is killing me Smalls.
