Video Card

I have a N-Vidia GTX-580 Video card, lately i have been getting a purple splash of color on / in the right side of the screen while playing BC2. This leads me to ponder a possible over heating issue w/ the vid card. I checked and i have the most current drivers. called tech support, they do not have a 580 video card in stock...they will put in a 560 vid card, then when the 580 is back in stock and 580 will be sent to replace the 560,but it going to be a refurbished 580.... i think thats a bunch of B U L O N E Y short for ( B.S. ) any ideas? Help :angry: Not only does that tic me off, thats like buying a new car..having engine problems...then being replaced with a used engine..what say my eGO brothers and sisters ?

Well, I was getting purple/green spots on heavy metal w/ my 460 yesterday. My drivers aren't the newest, so I'll be getting to that, but it might be some other issue besides heat or drivers...

I think its the Beta drivers we downloaded before. I here from some people the uninstalled that one and reinstalled the original.

My EVGA 570 SC HD is working fine, so its not a problem at my end

I did not play in any of the BF3 Betas.The N-vida 280 driver is the latest for my vid card. so, what else in my comp would be going south? to cause such issues. Any Ideas who to call about them putting a refurbished video card? anybody have any connections @ Dell?

I get it too...with dual 6950's. is it a purple/ pink ink blob looking thing? I have heard it is a programming issue of the game...

With three people, its highly unlikely its hardware. Either bother EA (unlikely you'll get an answer) or else deal with it...sad to say, but BF3 is already on preload...BC2 is going to lose almost all (if not all) support soon.

I have two new EVGA GTX 570's running in SLI and I am experiencing purple spots randomly while playing BC2. I attribute it to the drivers I am running (285.38).

i got the problems to, got a gtx560ti, latest drivers, and 60c max temps so its not ur card, it's the game
