What is the story behind your BFBC2 Name?

I saw a neat thread where folks explained the source of their BFBC2 name. I bet there are some cool stories out there.

Mine is: I recently started working with Apple (not "at Apple"). When an Apple computer has a internal conflict and cannot continue it puts up a "Kernel Panic" notification. This is the equivalent of the PC "Blue Screen of Death".

The second I found out what a Kernel Panic was I knew I needed to change my BFBC2 screen name to it. It works on a lot of levels....

What's the story behind your name/how did you come up with it?

How I got my name was when I first created my account on my PS2 I put in a random name for the "username" slot. Similar to how sometimes I am just lazy to fill out the enter age setting for Steam and stuff like that so I put something along the lines of January 1st 1905.

So ever since that day I have played with my placeholder name that I never intend to change.

Don't mind me, I'm just going to leave these here...

most people consider me this nice chill guy in real life. In video game, not so much. thats where the name comes in

went through a phase when I drank a lot of mead and read a lot of Icelandic Sagas. Got into WoW at the same time, created a burly warrior and played around with the keyboard trying to think of a good Viking-sounding name... Reylaark was born.

The mead is in the past now, and Icelandic Sagas without mead just don't quite seem the same, but the name stuck.

I entered name after name, it came down to SunshineFrcRcn or Beemermarine, well I am more often than not called "Beemer," because I ride one, a K75c. And I was a marine so I stuck the two together thinking no one would THAT name....60 games later, I use it on EVERYTHING.....:)

Kerak

Place of Origin: Kingdom of Heaven, Movie 2005. Its Raynald of Ch?tillon castle. I thought it was an odd name and it is so I stuck with it.

Jaxom is a character in the Dragon Riders of Pern novel series. I found the name to be quite unique, and have used it quite often. 82 is well for 1982, my year of birth. I've also gone under the name BEES!!!!! which I got from this [ame]http://youtu.be/LZs39wggIW4[/ame]

Just my Chinese name shortened. My Origin ID xinjiru, which is a less shortened version of my shortened Chinese name coincidentally means 'to believe' in Japanese. cool stuffs.

BRAVO51- 308win sniper rifle made from tac ops, it can achieve an accuracy of sub .25MOA

ironically i first started online fps games when MW2 came out. after playing the game for about a year i came up with my name. I mainly played hardcore HQ and sniped alot. 95% of the time I was last alive and could hold down a HQ till time ended. Thats the jist of how i came up with bad_azz_campa

When I played wow I came Hordor nothing really special about it just wanted something more unique then others. My wife said I'm a hoarder because of it. lol

My origin name is Hordor0241 and if you are bright enough to look at my avatar you will see that the 0241 was my MOS in the Marine Corps.

Not a whole lot really special about my name, just wanted a unique one.

Gee, mines kinda hard to explain. My name is Jay Tipton, so I use jtipton. Hard to figure out huh?

I was born Kal-El on the planet Krypton, before being rocketed to Earth as an infant by my scientist father Jor-El, moments before Krypton's destruction. Discovered and adopted by a Kansas farmer and his wife, I was raised as Clark Kent and imbued with a strong moral compass. Very early I started to display superhuman abilities, which upon reaching maturity I resolved to use for the benefit of humanity!!

Years later I became SUPERJ569!!!!!!

JUST KIDDING!!!

Well lets see... SUPER cause Ive always been a superman fan. J cause thats the initial for my first name. 5 cause im the 5th one in my immediate family. 69 cause those are the middle digits in my SS#.

How I came up with it IDK. My handle use to be IcEdMoNkEyNuTz , seeing how I would get kicked for a inappropriate name, I changed it! :)

I started playing fps with counter strike 1.6, I used to play under the name Cyanide then I kept seeing other players with that name, I wanted something original and since I read a lot of history books I had read a book about the John Dillinger Gang, That's how I chose PrettyBoyFloyd.

Now my new origin name, MachineGunMack, is just a play on another Mobster Machine Gun Kelly, only using my first name instead.

When I was making my Xbox gamer tag I hit the random button like a million times. Eventually it gave me 'Abstract Love' which I changed to AbstractFailure after some thought. How do you abstractly fail? The abstract is something that can be interpreted different ways by different people. When put in terms of failure to me its a reminder that one persons failure is another persons triumph.

When I played WoW I used the name Kulgan. Which is from my favorite book, Magician by Raymond Feist.

Way back in the day when I played DoD and then TF2 I used the name WesJanson. Which is a character from Star Wars.

I still don't get it... (trolololololol)

The story of rainbowtoast is that I was trying to name a character on WOW but all of my usual names were taken so I thought of 2 random things and came up with Rainbowtoast.

Waaaaay back in 05 when I played Guild wars I randomly chose RustyRobato as my alias, plus 93 for the year I was born. When I started playing FPS like halo and bf2142 people called me Rusty for short, but rusty was usually taken so I would add Pwns just cus. I went by the name Starscream for a while before ego but I didn't stick with it.

And I've been RustyPwns ever since :P
