Ok I really need help here guys. So, my first ever Mann Co. crate I opened, I found an unusual Magistrates Mullet. The wig with the rain cloud above it. I barely play tf2 and apparently theres only 7 of them, so I've been getting offers all over the place for this. I don't really want tf2 items, so someone is offering me 150 dollars in paypal, and I need to know if this is a good deal. PLZ RESPOND! PLZ! I don't want to accidentally sell it for a really cheap price. Plus I'm working on getting a new desktop so I need all the money I can get. It would really help if some of you guys could respond.
Thanks - Bomokka

Yeah but I'm not sure if its worth more or not thats the problem, cuz it's got the stormy storm effect and it super rare.

K i just sold for $175 let me know if it was a good deal or not. (Unusual Magistrate's Mullet: Stormy Storm Effect)

You get real money for pixels I think that is a very good price
I would have to agree with this. I think it's silly that people pay so much for hats, they don't even effect game play other than making it so someone can identify who you are from across the map.
Heck if I was to find an unusual & it was for a class I don't play(Spy/Scout) I'd probably either just trade it for a regular hat,or give it to someone off my friends list that played that class. I just don't value TF2 items like other people I guess.

Yes! But be aware: i think (THINK) ValvE can ban your tf2 account for selling their items for real world money. Not sure if this is true or not because getting an unusual is my dream.
Great find ;)

It's great that you found an unusal! BUT, selling Valve's items for real money violates their ToS. You can be permanently vac banned, the WHOLE works, so I would NOT recommend selling it since they can easily find out.

tl;dr: Don't sell your items, you will be severely punished.

I actually think these new unusuals look like excrement, I prefer the old effects than the new ones, but thats just me.

You won't get banned.
However, if you were to get scammed and lose your item, valve would be unable to assist you.

"Trades made outside the Team Fortress 2 trading system are done so at your own risk and we cannot assist you in recovering items lost in such trades."

$175 for an imaginary hat?

I'd say that's a solid deal.

You won't be banned, but they don' help you if you got scammed. $175 seemed to be a fair price, but I always recommend posting on multiple trading sites and awaiting offers.

SourceOP and other similar sites have been doing this for a while with users not getting banned, so don't worry about that.

No, they can't. They have said that they don't care if people are trading for real dosh.
