you are confusing oldies with classic stuff. Oldies is stuff from the 40's till early 60's usually. 80's and 90's stuff is now Classic rock/pop/jazz/whatever.



If I ever see you refer to my music generation as oldies again I will take off my shirt.

"Hip Hop" "Dubstep" "New School Rap" 2000's to current: Kanye West, Rihanna, Datsik, Nero, Busta Rhymes, MGK (Machine Gun Killers), Juicy J

*Most of the already mentioned styles such as Country and Jazz are still going strong and don't really have a change in "play style"
*Rap is everywhere as it was considered Rap, then Old School then Gangsta (this type of rap is not to be stereotyped for all rap) and now it has transformed into Hip Hop-Rap (aka cRap Hop) but there is still some good "rap" out there
*I know there are A LOT of good bands/ people I missed but I don't want to type em all
