Battlefield 3 Ports to Open

im going to do this right now beofre i even have the game, so when i do get the game all i have to do is install and play :D
 
Are these the same as the ones for BC2? That could be why you guys didn't need to.
 
Well, opening the ports isn't a strict requirement to play the game. In short, it just makes it easier for your computer to communicate with the servers and other players, especially related to any hosting duties you may have to perform.
 
What?! This is the first time a game has asked me to open ports, why the hell are they doing that.
 
Most games open ports FOR you when they are installed... if you are not on a router and are simply using windows firewall.... but other people who are on a router firewall sometimes have to put allowed ports in the router. I do.. all the time.
 
Hey guys, I'm on my phone right now but I need help, I finally got a round of rush in but I was experiencing very choppy frame rate and it was nearly unplayable trying to run or aim, is there any way to fix this?
