ArmA 2 Free

For those who don't know, ArmA 2 is one of the most realistic military themed FPS games to date. It features real weapons, bullet drop, caliber effectiveness and a multitude of vehicles. Not to mention a HUGE map size and many different mission types.


For those who aren't aware, majority of Op:X leadership, including USCG Hammer himself, have been running missions together for a few months now. Which few know, Stormy & Spray have joined Reaper Company to help carry out our missions.

With that said, on behalf of Reaper Company, we would like to extend our skills and wisdom to you guys, the admins. Download ArmA 2 Free here and come learn how to play!


*Let it be known that this game is VERY complicated and you will get frustrated, we ask that you be patient and come in with an open mind. If you cannot take "orders" or cannot follow directions, this game isn't for you. We will be doing classes teaching basics such as tactical formations and clearing as well as incorporating the USMC ranking into this for members down the road. Dates for bootcamp & training will be posted.

The demo is the free version, like I said in the post, if you can follow directions you are more than welcome to play. We have to set a training date still.

Yeah, most of us have combined ops, but seeing as how the game is free, we invited everyone to try that out first. All of the best stuff is on combined ops though!

Reaper Company does, we actually prefer OA over ArmA II because its more realistic (if thats possible) and it has current weapons and gear.

I wondered if eGO played this at all.

I've had this game since it launched, (got hooked on it from Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, back in the day when it was still BIS making the OpFlash series.) but I'd never gotten into the multiplayer thing, but I did make a few SP missions for OFP, ARMA, etc. for a couple years. I think I still have one or two up for download on opfec.com for ARMA I.

Do you guys use any mods? (ACE, etc.?) Those take the game to a whole new level, if you haven't checked them out.

I'd be more than happy to jump in with you guys and get some training.

I had attempted to make some multiplayer missions, fully scripted, really fun, yada yada... but could not quite get the hang of ARMA's communication/syncing system for MP. On top of the fact I never had any dedicated people to help test it, I dropped it. But, if you guys are looking for custom missions I could possibly look into learning the new scripting commands and whatnot for ARMA II.
