Rockstar announces Grand Theft Auto 5

They were hiring voice actors for the game earlier this year...so I would imagine late 2012.

GameStop initially listed it as September 2nd, but who knows with them. Still, based on prior Rockstar releases relative to when they started hyping them, it's looking like Holiday 2012.

I've heard from IGN and Game Informer articles, That it will be a revist to the San Andreas series. I've been yearning for a new GTA ever since GTA 4 came out. They've defiantly waited long enough, so I know it will be good.

I'm fine with going back to San Andreas...as long as the jet pack is in the game. I really missed it in GTA IV.

What i missed the most from SA in 4? The planes!! I hope the planes are back!!

I hope with the new San Andreas they figure out a way to populate the map entirely. SA had a problem where you could drive for miles without finding anything until you hit the center of a city.

As long as I can drive a car off a ramp in to a crowd of people, while firing a SMG out the window. Then go shoot cops, it'll be fine

When you think about it that isn't too far away.

Skyrim was being hyped a long time ago, and it's being released in two weeks. It actually didn't seem that long, because I remember discussing on here that it would take place on Summerset Isle (before the title was announced).
