how to turn off in-game chat in BF3?

how to toggle flash light? is there a way to do so in MP?

There's a button that toggles it. Mine is left arrow. No clue what the default one is.

Not sure why this thread is questioning the ingame chat... However if you have admin, you kind of need the chat to deal with in game situations...

not sure you can do anything about the in-game chat but the flashlight is T

By the way, the on/off key also works for the laser light.

Nope you do, if I remember correctly it was 'T' in the Beta.

i absolutely hate where the in-game chat is placed. it is VERY distracting and annoying.
