The simple fact that a single Pink Floyd song didn't make the list means it's meaningless, pure and simple.
I agree with you.
What are the top 3 Pink Floyd song's that should be there?

No Rise Against?! This is an outrage.
Not everyone will agree that Rise Against is a great band, I understand that, but I do think Rise Against is one of the better bands out there because of their lyrical content.
List of artists that should be on the list:
Blur
Tom Waits
Gorillaz
Nas
The Clash
The Doors
Elliott Smith
Daft Punk
Pixies
Portishead
Massive Attack
Jimi Hendrix
King Crimson
Modest Mouse
...and the list could go on forever.
Sure, some of these are debatable...but seriously...omitting The Doors is just retarded.
The Doors are a great option! Their 1967 debut self-titled album is really really good. Light My Fire is probably the most well-known, but yah great group.
Hendrix is an interesting consideration. His riffs are so transformational, but I have trouble isolating that into one song.
I agree with you.

The real question is, where's eminem on that list? You can't say he's not well known, and his albums sold millions in the first few weeks in the 90s.
