Um, I don't know much about IP addresses, but I play with my sister on the same server all the time. And we're both on the same home network, and we don't have any problems.

I don't foresee this being the case for us, as we will both have the same OS, an up-to-date router, and using two different Steam accounts. I found a FAQ via Steam for this problem, should it arise. Thanks, though.

Myself and my three brothers have our own Steam accounts and play online on Ego servers, sometimes all at once, so I'm pretty sure that it'll be ok.

My husband and I don't lag excessively when we're both on - we always have a bit of lag anyway, but it's not any worse when we're both there.

i used to play INS with my brother under one roof (and one router) so it will be just fine. don't worry about it.
