BF3 can't connect to servers ;(

Hey guys. I just got BF3 (it was released thursday in europe -.-') and i wanted to play the MP. I can't seem to connect to ANY server. I tried quickmatch, i tried the eGO servers, i tried empty, i tried full, close to me, far from me, ...

Doesn't work. It keeps saying: "joining server". But nothing happens. Anyway i can fix? Maybe firewall blocking?

EDIT: managed to connect to a server but got kicked instantly ;(.

they had a notfication on the battlelog main page the other day saying if you were having problems like getting kicked from servers try to manually update your punkbuster idk if that is your issue but maybe worth a shot. Also check your windows firewall settings.

I updated PB for BF3. Firewall settings are fine. I Played the MP yesterday night but it was completely laggy. (fps or connection, no idea). It was laggy. my ping is over 100 though, could that be the problem?

When i play the game on lowest setting, it plays without lag, but the SP works perfect on high though.

give some more details like:

your system specs, your firewall, are you behind a router, ...

It was just my firewall that blocked origin. Just needed to tell it it was good.

Update Punk Buster and check your fire wall, besure to allow your game to go thu your fire wall. If you are using Vista or Windows 7 be sure that you have adminstrator rights or control of the ( UAC ) which is the ( User Account Controls ). Besure to run the program as the adminstrator. Last open the properties box and look to see if the game is running on what ( OS ) Operating System : Windows 7 , Vista, you can try to step down from your current OS to a lower version. Important: Besure to reinstall your anti virus program back on your computer. You Do Not want to catch a cold on the inter-net ( Virus ). If that does not work, If you have Ventrillo & a headset, get in vent ask some of your players, advisors or leadership who the " Techical Guru " is that plays your game, I almost guarrantee they will have answer & they can guide thru the process, You will be playing in no time.
