Do you guys have a problem with people accusing you of hacking? Just about everytime I get on tf2 I have someone say "arwen is hacking!" I don't know how to hack, don't wanna know, but it's getting annoying. I was playing Saturday and had this guy on No Heroes 2fort (seeing as eGO's 2fort is koth ATM) and this guy for like 30 was complaining about a map hacker. After like 20 mins I finally realized he was talking about me when he said the "=(e)= thing". Why was he mad? He was cloaked spy and I went right to his hiding spot twice. Stupid idiot didn't know I had seen him bump into someone and he got fall damage from the battlements. (which you can see an outline). He got banned but it messed up my day.

All the time. Sometimes it gets under my skin, sometimes it doesn't bother me. Most people are just going to complain when they lose, no matter what you say or do. And the harder the game's difficulty (BF3, for instance), the more likely you get called one.

That being said, at least on our servers we don't allow people to call people hackers. So if you're ever on any eGO server, make sure people get that message.

Most of the time, if you try not to let it bother you, eventually the whiners will be seen for what they are.

Being accused of hacking when you are not is one of the greatest compliments in an FPS game imo.

Ignore and move on, best thing to do.

Happens to me often. The latest accusation was yesterday, I was spy and was on mesa. Scout chased me up the stairs and I ran towards the blast doors but saw a heavy drop down into the map room, so I ran into the last point. Scout followed me in and I saw the heavy open the little door leading into the last point. I got the health pack and jumped on the desk thing as the heavy came in through the little door I jumped on his head and stair stabbed him as he came in and krit shot the scout killing him lol. Heavy accused me of wall hacking said there was no way i could kill him. I just LOL'd and so did everyone on the server .

When I play Joint Ops, a game that I've played for 5 years or so....there's almost always someone accusing me or for that matter anyone who can shoot properly. If I pull out a knife, then the chances of me getting called a "knife hack" is 100%. Some other hack accusations have been so hilarious that it just makes me lawl...I once got called a hack for reviving (not counting healing) 200 soldiers in a single game time.

In BC2/Vietnam been called a hack few times for knifing. The guys on the other end are usually lvl 50 who are just mad about someone stealing their tag. Oh and using my no optics M1 Garand to snipe snipers always gets amount of rage and if I'm lucky some hack accusations as well.

This is probably the game where I get least accused for. One of the reason I like it...TF2 is kinda peaceful...people don't care that much about skills....they're too busy trading..and there barely are hackers...the first hacker I saw on on the time I played...was on Mesa few weeks ago...and he got banned instantly.


P.S. these days when someone called me a "hack" I take it as a complement.

Well it never happens to me since I am terrible at games but you should really not let it get to you people just like to get a response and if they do they just roll with it. So just don't let it bother you or jsut don't look at chat.
