Basically you have an ice rink and it's dimensions are: 60 m x 30 m, goal width and height are 1.83 m x 1.22 m

the questions asks to calculate the scale of the drawing if the width of the drawing is 8 cm

and the last question says if the width of the goal is 5 mm how much should it be in meters?

Kinda stuck on this one, please help

hmm, assuming normal dimensions are LxW, normal width is 30m and scale is 0.08m

To find the scale, just divide the larger width, W, by the scale width, w (should be a number > 1 ):

W/w = s

Ex: if the width is 20m, and scale width 0.04m (4cm), the scale is 500, or 1:500 scale

For the last one, use the scale you calculated to find the normal width:

s x w = W
