CPU Cooler

Hey I am building a computer and the CPU Cooler I ordered (Cooler Master Hyper 212+) is out of stock and the people at the website suggested the Xigmatek Gaia SD 1283 so I was wondering whether or not this was a good cooler I will be using it with an i5 2500k.

For the price / performance, yeah it appears to do nicely. Per the reviews online (Toms, Frosty, Tech, etc.) it appears a decent buy.

Unfortunately, I am part of the overkill squad. Noctua NH-D14 for me! Though it is over twice the price of the Xig, it's a beast! Quiet as a mouse too.

The Gaia's probably at or just under the 212+. For the price, it's very appealing.
