So help me out as the title says Machine Gun uses an outdated laptop and can barely play css, lets convince him to get a desktop so he can play the game how it should be and also the multitude of other games we all play together.

Check out tigerdirect.com. They have great deals on PCs. If you know anything about computers, you should try getting a barebones kit. It is a PC that you build yourself, you only need to get an OS. I did that as well, upgraded from a single core 3.2 GHz piece of crap to a quad core 3.2 GHz gaming rig.
