Phase 1: Formation

The eGO Republic guild was founded by Jedihitman on March 14th, 2011. The following day the eGO Empire guild was founded by IceGladiator. The creation of these guilds has allowed us to look forward to one of the biggest MMO's to date. We would like to thank Jedihitman and IceGladiator for their hard work and dedication towards Star Wars: The Old Republic.


Phase 2: Alignment

When phase 2 started almost immediately Zeak(DK) and myself made sure that the Empire and Republic guilds were Adversaries for the chance that both guilds be put on the same server.


Phase 3: Deployment

As phase 3 started for all Star Wars: The Old Republic guilds, we made sure that both guilds Empire and Republic were ready for launch. In order to be ready you must have at least 4 people with the game pre-ordered and their code entered on the Code Redemption Center. There has been an indicator bar added to every guild to show what all is needed for that guild to be ready. Both of our guilds are green and ready to go.​

Heh, that would mean a lot of us getting in there early then, too. Definitely going to use an alt for that pre-play period and wait until official release to start my main, though.
 
I'm really hoping to get in the beta so I can test out all the classes without investing "real" time into them. I want my main character to have a certain name, so I want to be sure I pick the right class for him.
 
NICE!!


Can't wait for this to come out. The beta weekend only made me want it more.

a little birdie told me that as long as you have met the requirements, and your GM has pointed out that he wants the guild to join, you're all set.

It also told me that every guild that has done so will be accepted into the beta. ( as they want to make sure all the pre-formed guilds are all set for release )

we can expect more info regarding the early access in a couple of days, so I'm guessing Phase 3 will start in 2 - 3 weeks.

yea, it can still change though, but the're plan is to get every guild into the beta.

Edit:

It seems I was wrong about this, what they plan to do now is try and make every guild that meets the requirements ready for early access. It seems that beta invites are getting pretty low mainly because the full release is 1 1/2 months from now.

So I will automatically go to the server we are at? Or will I actually need to manually select the server when I create the character?
 
When I get the email of what server we are in I will let everyone know. You will have to manually pick the server and once in you will get a guild invite instantly.

Are we going to be doing any role playing?

• Make any changes to your guild
• Ensure your guild meets requirements for deployment into the game††
• Designate your guild's Allies and Adversaries
• Review pending guild application requests

Yeah, I have a few friends that want to play with me, so I want to tell them what server I'm on before they start. Hopefully we don't get something too stupid-sounding!
