people camping our spawn area in grand basaar just now in regular 64 player conquest 2 admins on and im repeatedly spammign chat whats happening and nothings being done about it. Rules STATE no spawncamping and its being allowed. EVEN got gun'd down by a LAV-25 after i spawned at our deployement

I usually completely tune out in-game chat. I'd get rid of it entirely if I could. Are you in vent?

I'm at work at the moment Ironically. I'll be home in an hour and I can take care of it, but your best bet is to jump on vent and tell an admin / advisor. They usually take care of it asap. I know that not all eG's and eGO's have admin rights yet, so that may be part of the problem.

In the next patch EA plans to nerf the mortars. As of right now they have unlimited ammo. I don't think servers have that power.

As stated before though your best bet is vent.

If an admin does not have admin they should search out either Left or me and get set up as soon as possible. We will be adding a lot more names later tonight but we will obviously miss some people. Keep an eye on the admin forums for more information.

We will never limit the number of a weapon on our servers. We want people to be able to play however they want to play. Also we find that limiting weapons/kits drives more people away than the cheap tactics that people use with certain weapons/kits (e.g. Carl Gustav and camping snipers).

EA has said we will have the ability to but we will not do it.

alrighty im rarely in vent anymore got really tired of hearing spammers made me just not care to go in vent. I'll start trying to hit up admins in there when issues come around but dont expect to see me to much in there anymore.

Also is there a way for us to set up an auto ban system for hackers? I know insane gamers asylum has it on their servers not sure about others but I feel that's an excellent tool to balance the game out because there are people out there now that are hacking etc. Would seem a legit way to make our servers free of hackers.

In BF2 we use to "stream" pb doing so stopped hackers from entering any server that did so, I use to love watching the hackers trying to enter servers that did stream and were caught.
Though in BC2 it seems that it is frowned upon, sad thing that.

We do use punkbuster, but even if they do manage to get around it, we have been very good about spotting and banning hackers. We take extreme care in doing so because there are times where they are just good at the game :thumbup1:
