Profile/Website Not Updating

Edit: Ignore the first question. I figured out I had to edit the avatar. I changed my profile pic a couple of days ago, but the new pic only shows on my profile page. Should it change it forum posts, too?

I also setup a scheduled donation but still see ads/no dedicated supporter medal. I am assuming someone has to update this manually so may take some time. Is this correct?
