Usually people don't drop $4k on something without any research, or some sort of purpose.

It sounds like an awesome card on paper, but that card isn't meant for gaming. I mean it can do it but.....why spend so much?

If you're looking to do professional graphics rendering, rock on. That card will be amazing.

If you're just looking to game, the Geforce GTX 580 will be a better card.

Yeah its totally not a gaming card. It is meant for high demand rendering. Movie CGI and the likes.

Can't wait to read AngelsKing reason for getting this card. Misguided gaming GPU upgrade? CGI developer? Just spending $4k just because? The anticipation!

I haven't read to much about this card, but typically professional cards like this do NOT perform well in gaming situations and the drivers are not optimized for gaming.

For the price you could buy multiple 580, 590, 6970, or 6990 cards and have way better performance.
