So, I downloaded ONLIVE to try it out. I went and got a free trial of Saints Row 2, a game I KNOW my PC can't run. The game launches instantly with no indication of a previous download. The game also runs at 30 FPS on max graphical settings even IN the open world.

So, now I go and actually BUY the game, download it to my hard drive and everything. It runs at 15 FPS on lowest possible graphical settings in the open world.

So, ONLIVE gives you a game instantly, with no sign of previous download, and has it run at max FPS.

WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?

Can someone explain this magic to me?

Your streaming the game. Like youtube. You send the movements to the server hosting the game, and the server, with a small delay, sends your client the visual of what you did.
