Lag Spikes?

Has anyone been experiencing lag spikes in game? Its not coming from the servers b/c I have been in multiple servers with the same issue and others are complaining as well. Maybe Steam? Just curious if anyone else has noticed it.

I don't know where it's coming from, but yes on random intervals I have been getting spikes.

I've noticed a little lag every now and then but not huge lag spikes.

I've always had lag spikes... but it really not a big deal. If it is something with steam it'll be fixed sooner or later, so sit tight.

I've noticed on dust2 that when there is a lot of activity on the server (huge rush by a team) it lags pretty bad. Not always but sometimes. I think it's just too much information being exchanged through too many interfaces or something like that.

I get it, but I've fixed it by going to DirectX 8, I get great FPS now >.>.

YES! I HAVE BEEN GETTING THIS!

Game freezes like its going to disconnect and I see the "Connection Error" message in red text in the top right of screen with a countdown.

I've never gotten this until recently. I've been searching around the web to see if people have been having the same problem I have been having recently, but I just figured my computer/network was having problems.

every source game I play I get those random lag spikes and they are really starting to annoy me, i'm glad though I am not the only one..might be a Steam issue

I've notice this too, but its quite a recent problem. So, I think it's just steam or source acting up. Nothing to do except to wait for a patch. =/

Yeh I am leaning towards it being a steam issue bc I have never had it.
