Sadly, (or epicly, depending on how you look at it) driving a jet to the first flag was how I finally unlocked flares in a jet.

I remember in BF2 on Wake Island, i was playing on a server that would kick you if you attacked grounded aircraft, so i just drove around with the jet and would occasionally shoot down other jets when they flew through my LOS.

I can fly them just fine. But finding targets to shoot is another story entirely. I wish there was a view that would be just first person and reticle with no cockpit around you kind of like Ace Combat or some type of radar that would show you all units on the field as an upgrade. Maybe this exists and I just dont have it yet..

I agree, but there is no upgrade that does that.
But a radar...I would epic win in jets if I had a radar, or at least something that could locate other flying vehicles while I was in first person.
