<div style="width: 500px; text-align: center" align="center">As we grow, we need to ensure the efficient management of all aspects of eGO. We do this by delegating areas of responsibility to various positions, clearly defining the authority assigned to each leadership member. We also need to avoid heaping too much on one person, even at the highest levels of the roster.
With that management model in mind, a new leadership rank has been created for eGO. The Director of Operations (DOO) will serve as lead-Council, holding a position between Community Managers and Divisional Council. Divisional Council will operate as before, but the (DOO) will now make the final call on matters that we used to rely on Community Managers for, freeing them to work with the community and sponsor partners to build eGO.
DOO responsibilities will be extensive. A few examples of them are personnel related issues such as training, ban management and admin conduct. Leadership responsibilities below the Council level would also be defined by this position. The many day to day tasks will be amended as we move forward.
Any current Council member could have been promoted into this position, all having the full confidence of the Community Managers, however only one could be named. The selection is USCG Hammer with Rocko as his alternate. Hammer will name his assistants, who he will oversee, ensuring that all DOO responsibilities are met.
