Offline games!

So I won't have internet for the next 2 weeks because I can't afford a router/modem until my next paycheck.

This brings me to a question: What game do I spend the next 2 weeks playing?

Go ahead and list some of your favorites, and if I haven't played them already, or think it's worth re-visiting I just might do that!

Some ideas thus far:

Just Cause 2
Torchlight
(More) Hellgate London
(another playthrough) Borderlands
(SP) Black Ops
(SP) DOW2
Old Command and Conquer games

Suggestions from the Twitter:

Terraria
Minecraft
Magicka
Pokemon (Black) on DS

I don't know about you but i usually play a lot of Mount&Blade (Warband / With Fire and Sword) while no internet connection. Can't think of anything else right now. Hehe..
Minecraft, Hellsgate and C&C games is good too.
 
I'm assuming this is mostly for PC (except for the DS title)?

I'd say:

Mass Effect series
Batman: Arkham Asylum (sequel to be released on PC soon)
Deus Ex: The Human Revolution
Bastion
Shogun 2: Total War (recommendation from a few friends of mine, haven't had time for it yet, myself)
Half-Life 2 + sequels
Portal
Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy remakes on DS

Unfortunately I don't have M&B.... And I don't have the cash for any new games, otherwise i'd be playing online (i'd buy my modem).

All good suggestions though! Keep em comin!
 
Any Grand Theft Auto game would have a great play through in about 2 weeks.

Also, Oblivion, Morrowind or any of the Fallout's will take up plenty of play time.
 
hey acefisher1, i have an old skool linksys wrt54g wireless g router if u want it. all u gotta do is just pay for the s&h to your destination & its urs. 1 of my good pc tech buddies gave it to me since he didnt need it & i was tryin 2 sell it ever since. if you want, ill d/l the latest software for the router as well. all i ask is that you have the required ethernet cables available. to answer your ?, yes its a 4 port router. ive heard quite a few good things bout this guy. anyways, let me know.
 
Wow, thank you so much pillar. I really do appreciate it. I will have to say i'll just wait though man. I would rather it go to someone that really can't afford it. I can, just not for 2 weeks, and let's be honest, my wife appreciates the time away from the computer!

Drop that bad boy off at a goodwill or sell it and use the money as a donation to a charity for me instead, or sell it as you intended originally.

EDIT:::
This also makes me realize how incredibly fortunate I am. What a great thing it is to have trouble deciding which of my 200+ video games to play while I wait for internet. I'm gonna go volunteer at a soup kitchen or something like that at least some of the time I have to wait.

All the Half-Lifes, both the good Deus Ex games, Audiosurf, Morrowind or Oblivion, Gmod, Metro 2033. These are some SP games I enjoy.
 
Well had I known u were married in the 1st place, I wouldnt had of offered it. I wouldve said exactly what u just said, for u 2 spend as much quality time w/ ur wife as possible! Also ya go do urself a favor & do some volunteer work. Always makes ya feel good afterwards.
