Hey guys,

Its border coming at you with a suggestion to try out ARMA 2. This game is sweet and tons of fun. eGO recently added a ARMA 2 server to it roster of servers and i think many of you would enjoy playing this game. Its not your typical run and gun or spray and pray type game. It takes time and stealth to complete objectives. To play on the eGO server all you need is the free version of ARMA 2 that you can get right off of steam just by searching for ARMA 2.

Here is how eGO does it.

Yeti: "Okay guys, we're gonna send one team over there, and one team here. Stay low."

30-45 minutes later you reach where you're going via running, crouching, and crawling

"Alright we're--"

*Someone on your team as spotted, the enemy has called reinforcements* Followed by artillery and tanks and infantry storming your position and you all die without firing a single shot.


But its loads of fun, I suggest getting it. (And its free!)

This sounds about right...

I had a lot of fun the last time I played even though I had no clue what I was doing or what our objectives were. I felt like a noob the whole time but it was still fun. Like when I ended up joining BCA for a quick helicopter ride, and then not being able to get out. Riding around on mountain bikes and motorcycles through the woods, while trying not to crash into trees or Stormy was also pretty entertaining. If you haven't check it out yet, I would definitely recommend it. Like Compton said it?s free!!
 
I want to check it out I would just need someone to show me what to do lol. Because the first time I tried it I had no clue what I was doing.

Tuesday at 9pm EST OP:X will be holding a training so you can learn about it and get some help. Show up early and i can help you as well with basic commands.
 
I have managed to keep my FPS addiction limited to DOD. Might have a problem with that now...
 
I don't know what the fuss is about with this game. I tried it, the voice acting sounds like robots, the AI is stupid. When I was incapacitated the dude with the blue star was too stupid to run around the house I was behind and kept running into the wall, so I had to crawl really slowly around the house. Other than that, the gameplay is just boring in my opinion.

We dont play with AI, only against. Silent Ghost (Our Corpsman) may still run into walls, but he'll reach you eventually.

Admittedly the game wont be for everyone. If you cant take orders, dont like planning out attacks, and spending 2-3 hours on a single mission then the game isnt for you.
 
Well I shall get it and add it to my library! Lol I dont know how much Ill be able to play it though...but we'll see!
 
I downloaded the free one. My brain exploded looking at the control settings, it was the biggest list I have ever seen in a game. And when I got on, Everyone was standing around and I didn't get a thing...
 
Tip #1: Be on ventrilo

Tip #2: There are no stupid questions, other then the unasked :)

Tip #3: Dont forget the above :P

Also, think real, this isnt anywhere near battlefield or Call of Duty at all, this is extremely close to real life :P

Too true, Compton. And also, your mine is going to take out a radio tower, Compton!
 
Tonight at 9PM EST there will be an orientation. I hope that all of you make it, it'll help you get understand what they plan to do with ArmA2 over the next few months. Maybe afterwards there might be a short mission or drill, if not BCA will be there to teach all of you, everything.
