I am trying to add a banner to my signature but it just shows the code. Is there a fix for that?

You have to embed it as html image. Try something like this:
<img src="PUT THE ADDRESS OF THE PIC HERE" alt="My Signature" />

Here is an easy guide.

Find your link to the image. e.g: [ame]http://i428.photobucket.com/albums/qq7/Darth0001/wcd6.png[/ame]

Go to [URL="http://edge-gamers.com/forums/usercp.php"][IMG]http://edge-gamers.com/forums/egov4/header/nav_account_left.gif[/URL] then click Edit Signature.

After that click this button

then paste the link of your image. And Voil?, you are done.
