monitor text is blurry

My monitor's text is blurry since I removed my second monitor, rightn ow the text looks thin and almost like without color, straight lines look fuzzy, I have not had this issue before, I jave tried enabling cleartext (or whatever it is), chanign my resolution, changing settings in CCC, no luck though, anybody have any ideas?

Did you try the refresh rate too?

check your resolution and check what connection you are using. beleive it or not VGA has the best refresh rate that i know of

Control Panel > Font > Adjust ClearType Text.

Already tried them all as said in the original post, I tried refresh rate now but didnt work out

Yea if possible try a different monitor just to eliminate that part. Try to boot in safe mode and see if that changes anything. Try different Res's and Refresh rates..that's all I can think of. Maybe get glasses

Reseat your video card and flush the power from your computer and monitor.

For example, to flush power from the computer, unplug the power cord, and hold the power button down for 30 seconds. Do this with the monitor as well.

If the following does not help, try doing a clean reinstall of your video drivers. If the problem persists, I would turn my suspicion towards the monitor itself possible being faulty.

The suggestions above to try a different monitor are good ones.

Ah, I tried all of these and it didnt work, I am beginning to think it is an issue with my GPU

Wal-Mart, cheap GPU, try it, then return it
