Let us all take a moment to remember our veterans on Friday November 11th 2011. This is a somber day that our flags are flown at half staff from sunrise to sunset. Let us all take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices that our men and women in uniform preform everyday,with out question in distant and far away lands. With out the creature comforts of home, family and friends. Let us all remember our past brothers and sisters in arms. May God bless them and thier familys. I would like to take this opportunity to thank not only my countries service men and women,but to thank ALL service folk, in all countries, with everything going on today in this world of ours, it just seems right to give a heads up to all who sacrifice, what they have and do, for those other's that either can not or do not.

Every year on veterans day I thank my dad for his service in Vietnam and attend the veterans day memorial with him at our local cemetery.

Thank you to all of those who are serving and who have served our country!

Not to hate or disrespect the troops, they do a good job, but I think its sad that we have such issues in our own country, yet they are off in Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan risking their lives. Sure, you could argue they are fighting for someone else's freedom (very honorable), but the US doesn't have to get involved in everything...even if they suspect someone was given orders from there to crash the planes on 9/11.

Just some thoughts. Happy Veteran's Day to all the soldiers, including the USA, those we are battling, and those we have battled and killed. May you all return safely or earn yourselves a proper burial.

I have the highest respect for the military, and their families. I have a brother in Afghanistan right now, and a sister in Corpus Cristi for USMC flight school, and I got medically discharged due to a back injury, so it's all very close to my heart. God bless them all.
