Good FPS mouse?

I know Razer is the first brand that comes to mind , but after they did my younger brother wrong by not replacing his Deathadder 3500 after only a year of use I find myself not wanting to support their brand if that's how they handle a warranty issue with their products. Though the mouse was not bought directly from them it was purchased from a third party retailer and that warranty period expired within the first 30 days.

Anyways I wanted to get a decent mouse for FPS's but I'm not too familiar with other brands other than logictech and Razer so I wanted to know what my fellow TF2'ers use on their systems.

I'd say Logitech and Razer make sense; after all they are specialist for a reason ;)

I have a Logitech MX-518 mouse which was recommended to me by friends. Good price and I've never had any issues with it.

My mouse has 17 buttons, your argument is invalid

Microsoft sidewinder X5 is a terrific mouse. A bit fragile but very good. (I say fragile because I slammed it down out of anger and broke the scroll wheel)

I feel cheap here; I just use a basic Logitech RX300 mouse, and an equally basic keyboard to match. :P Works for me though, so what the heck!

had a deathadder, lachesis, an two mambas. love the mamba the best as long as you remember to recharge it. also been looking at the R.A.T. series, anyone have one that can post their 2 cents on em?

Razer DeathAdder. Both the old one and the new ridiculous 3500 DPI one are both great.

They are also great mice for general working purposes, if you do a lot of video editing and graphics design like me.

I didn't know razer made phones

The amount of binds and shortcuts would be ridiculous ;D

edit: on that note, I use the logitech g9, it's a fairly comfortable palm grip mouse

I use the Naga epic, its like the above razor naga but wireless. Dont care what babies says about it, cuz babies dont know a manly mouse if it was wearing old spice.

Logitech has never let me down yet. And when it's on sale? Can't beat the price (especially if you're a poor student like me).

I don't know why you would need a fancy mouse in the first place a mouse thats used for the computer is as good as for a gaming one I don't see why you would need to spend extra money to make your life a tad easier when really you can just addapt to it

Yes! What Shiznoe said! :D

I've been using an OCZ Equalizer for several years. I love it, it does what I need it to. I agree with the above - one of the best things to do is just get a decent mouse and adapt.
