That is causing me to druel... I am envious of your mapping skills... I must do some more reasearch and create a map. This has been an inspiration.

rofl, I am learning from the masters.... That map is actually a test that I made of displacements. I encourage anyone to map, try to map or just learn more about the games we play. Heck, dev a mod. That would be the real brass ring!

UPDATE!!!! found the fgd for spawn protection...it works!!! had water in it, worked great, looked like a child made it... oh well forget the water....lighting fixed, changed modified and guess what BETA2 is ready. I think I am pretty much done with this map. Other than glaring glitches or something that has to be fixed...it is time to work on something else. The opinions so far have been good and I feel like it has more to offer than some maps I have seen out there. Like replace dod buildings with this map!! I have a map I called dod buildings at one time. It was really a bunch of buildings...you could climb on top and run around....

Also there is somewhere in my maps a map I messed with one time by taking a multi level track looking map, spliting it in half, melding it to a city map... it was really odd and interesting. we played that one in dod.

With new tricks thanks sniper and dawg and others, I am up late with hammer in hand!

Minor fixes, name change to dod_gilligan. if you played or downloaded dod_gilligan (not _a1 or _aL1 or any others, but you can) delete the previous map so you can get the latest version.

Enjoy....

The only thing I see this map could use is an overview. I have one and the file with the coordinates. Problem is that the tools with steam don't work for me. It may be my vista. I don't have photoshop so I can't convert the tga to the file format for dod.

If anyone wishes to help with the file I would appreciate the help. Or is there a FREE version of some image viewing software that I can use?
