could use some help with avatar

i'm trying to get a GIF file to be my avatar and i have no idea what to do. i can't upload it because that would mean only uploading 1 frame of the GIF and i can't use a website URL because it keeps saying "Remote file too large." (For the record, the picture's 100 x 100 resolution)

Srry if this is a stupid request for help.

*edit: FIXED (props go to Meep for reducing the file size of the GIF. thanks again! ^^) Can someone close this thread now?

Remember it needs to be under 35.0 KB. If it is not it will not work.

Your GIF just needs to be tiny, it does work, I've done it in the past.

but the avatar im using right now is a 155 kb .png file. so i'm confused.
