Yesterday 11/15/2011 & today in ventrillo we would get a troll in vent.. ok not much strange about that, But only one admin could hear the conversation. i was the affected admin yesterday... it was clearly two people talking. first point, you could not identifiy the person talking ( the names did not appear in vent ). Ok fast forward , same thing today, say around 1:15 pm to 1:135 pm est. but this time i could not hear the conversation, orb was the affected admin this time. Just a heads up.

I think this troll/spammer discovered the private message button on vent. That or he was a previous spammer that everyone else had muted. If that's the case, contact an Advisor with the person's name in the ventrilo pm.

The spammer's & the troll's name could not be seen by anybody in ventrillo. It was clear that two live people were talking in our channel, but the offenders name was not visible Yesterday or Today, That being said, there was nobody to mute or to report. Ask Orb, he heard the same thing today,he was the only one that could hear the people talking. So no big deal, but very strange. I have been in using ventrillo since 2007 and never ran across that type incident before. Hopefully this will clarify my earlier post. Swamp

It is possible to transmit to other channels/people in other channels in vent if the server has the feature enabled. If it is they could have been spamming you from a different channel.

Happened to two separate people, two separate days, and it requires an admin to single out a person.
