At least it is self indulgence that doesn't put a blight on a much loved mythology (for the most part, and none of them gain the following that Twilight has). True, mindless action films are the male equivalent of mindless romantic chick flicks. I would be able to ignore Twilight, except that it is a disgrace to werewolves and vampires. I can't wait until Twilight dies off and is forgotten, and the classics like Dracula, Nosferatu, and An American Werewolf in London will live on.
