For those of you who may not know, make sure you RSVP for the beta weekend. This will allow you to start the download. Nov 11-13th they sent the invites out a day before I think, but I've got my download going for this coming weekend started already. If you tested last weekend, you should probably have a patch with your current client. If you're testing for the first time, it's a BIG download, so I would suggest you start it asap.
The link for the RSVP page is just www.swtor/tester/

Good luck! See you all in the game!!

Thanks for the heads up! I've been checking every couple days since the last test weekend. Can't wait to play this one, too!

Something I also noticed while perusing the official forums; the NDA is now lifted!

Ugh, prepare for a giant patch. It forces you to redownload the entire game from scratch. It puts all the assets in a new folder.

Going to the Cowboys Vs Dolphins Thanksgiving game. Driving back Friday. Going to the OU vs Iowa State Game Saturday Morning. Passed out Saturday night. Hung over Sunday.

I don't see much time for me to play, BUT I WILL!!!!! :)

Hoping they would start it a day early. :)

I need to do something in between basting hours on the turkey.

That's why you just play Skyrim :P

On a serious note, I did my RSVP early Monday morning and just now getting to download the launcher and having to call Bioware -.- fun week for me....

I was debating buying Skyrim, because I am playing single mode MW3 over again, lol.

I love the storyline and all. Can you play Skyrim 3rd person? I hate that first person view, makes me sick, literally.

Yup, a click of the right stick toggles first/third person views. It's a great game. I've been playing it a ton. They made a lot of improvements over Oblivion while still sticking to the things that worked.

No more making a character that ends up being weak because you picked the wrong primary skills. Increasing any skill boosts progress towards your levels.

And there are SO many quests. It's apparently a relatively quick game if you just plow through the main storyline, but there are hundreds of side quests and things to explore.

I'm lucky to be Canadian and not have to worry about Thanksgiving this weekend :P Though my wife is American, so she may want to do a fancy dinner the one night. I know we have the last couple years.
