Imperial or Stormcloak?

I picked stormcloaks but I don't find it too appealing, the only stormcloak I have come to enjoy being around is Ralof... Ulfric is just to sensitive and complains about this and that too much for my taste lol. Plus it didn't help that the new Jarl of Windhelm after capturing it for the stormcloaks had the nerve to say to me "Your not as stupid as you look". >_> the original Jarl was pretty friendly, I mean he gave me items, made me a thane, and gave me my first companion >:[

I think you mean Whiterun. But yeah I agree, I liked the old Jarl a lot more. He played a big role in the main quest and then kinda got screwed.

I love how I didn't monitor this for a few days and its already on the third page. I know by what you guys mean by the racism. I knocked the crap out of that racist turd up North (forgot what city it was) and now he calls me friend lol. The game does go into great detail, but I haven't found the books on the war. Could you care to name them up?

Whiterun, Windhelm, same difference (not really) >_>... lol :chair:

I picked Stormcloak.
Only because it was necessary to pick something. After finishing the questline, I killed Ulfric and now the only side I'm on is the dragons. I know the Blades have some small quests for me but I refuse to work with them because they're idiots.

Imperial. The Stormcloaks are a bunch of racists, no better than the Aldmeri Dominion. The main argument I see for siding with the Stormcloaks is because people are against the Aldmeri, but that is a silly argument. The Empire is only at tenuous peace with the Dominion, they aren't allied, and the Empire united stands a much better chance at defeating the Dominion. All the Empire would really have to do is ally with the Argonians and incite rebellion in Elswyer and Valenwood, since the Khajiit and Bosmer have no real love for the Dominion. Really they don't even need the Argonians, if the Bosmer were to start a Wild Hunt (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Wild_Hunt) against the Aldmeri they are pretty much ensured to lose. Then Talos worship can be reinstated, which is the main reason the Stormcloaks state for rebelling. If the Empire loses Skyrim, then the Aldmeri would just have to take the rest of Hammerfell to cut off the Empire from High Rock, which would make it just Cyrodiil. Then the Empire would definitely fall to the Altmer.

Together we stand, divided we fall.

yup

I have to say Stormcloaks because I like there cause, and the Imperial isn't much better at being "nice."

I'd have to sort of agree, but both sides have anger issues. It's war, what do you expect lol.

From what I heard in game, there was a resistance against the dominion in Hammerfell. Honestly the empire needs to help out Hammerfell since the best warriors in Tamriel come from Hammerfell. And yes a wild hunt would utterly destroy the aldmeri dominion, but the Bosmer only do that when they are desperate.

It is often stated the best warriors in the Empire come from Skyrim, it is where Tiber Septim came from. However I think the Bretons in High Rock are much more important in the fight against the Dominion, because they have the innate resistance against magic which Altmer are so inclined to use.

Hammerfell broke off from the Empire because the Empire wanted to cede some territory in Hammerfell to the Dominion for the peace treaty.

Wild Hunts don't have to be acts of desperation, they can also be used as acts of revenge. I'm sure many Bosmer want revenge for the cleansings the Dominion enacted upon them.
