I like the idea but the music that I have heard on it so far is quite bad.
 
If the poll was taken into account before, I suggest you guys try more of a balance of music and see which appeals more. Many who vote may not even listen to tunego.
 
Now even thought you guys say what you guys say i agree. They do need more music variety. Which is a reason why i applied to become a DJ. But you guys gotta think about this. If you arent supporting the radio it most likely wont get any new people to DJ and also the people who are DJ's are funding this from there own pockets. (from what ive been told)
 
i have not listened to it yet but the concept sounds good. but i often hear it needs more variety of music :P

Cloaked, while you offer a good point here, being a DJ is completely free and has no cost associated with it whatsoever.
 
I'm a big fan of covers so when I listen to music I just fire up my itunes so I'm not interested in TUNeGO.
 
I listen to rock as well. So I understand where some people are coming from. That's why DJs are being trained up right now. Different DJs will play to different crowds but will always be able to accept requests for songs.

Also a future idea getting thrown around is running multiple streams for each genre once TuneGO reaches maturity. So we hear what people are saying and we are finding solutions. But we can't jump out in multiple streams with only a handful of DJs. It's something we would have to build up to. It's something I hope we can build up to.

Stay frosty and you'll get what you want.
 
I like it and as someone already stated before me, it would be nice if it would be more varying in music genres.
 
the radio team needs to fix all the problems and get the dj staff... then ask how everyone likes it. but until that time most people will keep postin the samething everytime
 
it's ok, but it needs to use a wider variety of music. all im hearing is Justin Bieber, sub-par techno, the occasional good rock song, decent oldies, and Rihanna.
 
I like it so far, but the variety of music definately needs to increase. I don't know how possible it would be, but it would be neat to have several different TuneGO stations, ie: TuneGO Techno, TuneGO Pop, TuneGO Top 40's, etc. That way you could just pick what style of music you wanted to listen to.

Other than that, I listen to it when playing CS:S while waiting to spawn in Jail, or during the Highschool map.

A man after my heart. Well you all know my opinion on advertising vs. spamming...but as far as the radio itself goes, I've never been much of a radio listener. Once in a while I might tune into a radio station to get a taste for some new music to listen to....but it makes little sense to listen to a radio station that plays top playlists or DJs that stick to a genre when I can listen to a huge selection of music I love with superior audio quality aka my winamp.

You are all putting in a commendable amount of work, however.

I love it because all the songs are right there and i don't need to buy them off itunes if i wanna listen to them on my computer :)

Yes but from what ive been told (Dont know if this is the truth) The current DJ's are paying the fee's for TuneGO out of there own pocket :) Not sure if its true or not but im sure we will all find out sooner or later lol.
