New map idea

So today I was bored and playing some jail when the movie shawshank redemption came on and I was thinking why don't we try and make a map like the jail in the movie? Any thoughts?

All it would take is a decent mapmaker who can make it fun and good performance wise.

Yeah I kinda want a map like it so we can have a new jail map to play on instead of the usual ones and someone would have to build it as I'm not great at mapmaking just have good ideas for new maps

It'd take a while and someone experienced would have to be able to make it since of its size and having to be optimized so it would be laggy. Plus also a lot of research would have to be put in, to get it close to the prison in the movie or just Google the movie and there's probably somewhere that says if a real prison (or defunct) prison was used like the mall used in Dawn of the Dead.

And that's where you'd start since you can Google Map that and used the satellite view to get the general layout down.

Sadly though that's a real prison and it doesn't have a pool, climb, maze, etc. So hopefully it would stay the same, but doubtful D:! ...

It is possible but it would take a while, no map is made in a few days or a couple of weeks usually its more around 2 or 3 months for a good map to be produced

Oh trust me I know I've made custom maps for cod4 and a couple maps for CSS but I deleted them

You know.. it'd be an interesting mod if the goal of the terrorists was to actually escape the jail and the ct's had to defend the border/exits or give orders like usual.. and it would be based around this proposed map. That'd be cool as hell imo.

That was Jail like 3 years ago when it was mainly about escaping and killing with the CTs trying to control the Ts but in the end they just ended up killing each other... damn the good ol' days....

Machine gun that was exactly what I was thinking so it would fit the movie better and we should have that hole that he makes to escape in the map and Raul I know I could help get the details of the prison and the layout if you wanted to but I'm bad at making the maps since I haven't done it in like 4 years
