After hunting parts in preparation of Black Friday, I got my new computer ordered.

Here's my wishlist on Newegg. I sure am glad I ordered it before the i5's started
going out of stock.

If you're wondering where the case/PSU/GPU is...
I have the case, it's an Antec Mini P180.
I have the PSU, it's an OCZ Fatal1ty 550W.
I'm getting the GPU from a friend, it's an Nvida GTX 460.

I got the hard drive because it came with this case and PSU free (now out of stock),
I needed them to put my current computer inside. I'm giving my current computer
to my siblings.


This will be the first time I've put together an Intel-based computer, I'm guessing
the CPU installation is similar to AMD?

I'll be sure to get some pictures and update this thread once the parts come in.
 
Good stuff. Is that psu one you already had? Not my favorite component of the build. Should suffice for now though. Good luck with the assembly!

If you're talking about the OCZ, I got it for $20 about a year ago. I was needing a PSU
to upgrade my old (current) PC, and at the time it was the cheapest with okay reviews.
I'll more than likely be exchanging it sometime next year before the warranty expires.
 
Awesome i wanted to buy my computer this black friday but since i didnt get my paycheck in time i wasnt able to buy it
