Using my Beta key this weekend.

Knowing that eGO is a massive community, and that I am suffering WoW withdrawal, trying to see if this could be the next thing for me.

Perhaps it's just the uber-nerd in me, but I'm old, and I grew up on Star Wars (original gangster right the F here). Something about the story and movies makes me feel like a kid again.

Anyway, it comes out 12/20 I think, and I was wondering if anyone out there has a guild in mind, or wants to start one (Edge of Darkness comes to mind lol). Not even sure if I'll be playing it but it looks like hella fun. I would most likely look PvE since gangkin' lowbies is for ugly ___s.

Hit me up if there is something planned I don't know about. Or, if no one has anything planned, hit me up and we'll start something.

I've been downloading the client for the past hour. I want to play, damn it. Also, do these beta weekends really only last... for the weekend? I don't really see the point of testing a game for 48 hours (less since it's quite impossible to play for 48 hours straight and not feel like a tool).

It's not uncommon for an MMO to test like this. They have a small subset of players that have almost 24/7 access, and a larger set that get brought on in fits and starts to stress test the servers and code.

Plus, these days betas are used as publicity stunts as well.
