So we got blitzed with snow last night. First huge storm of the year. Won't be the last.

Here's a picture of a Marathon gas station in Lansing. Specifically (for other Lansingish members) on the corner of Haslett and Marsh. When I know more about what actually happened, I'll let you know.

As far as I can tell, the wind combined with the rain that turned to sleet that turned to snow made for a heavy snow which displaced it no problem. Yee haw. No one hurt thankfully!

Wow! glad no one was getting gas at the time.

And keep all that snow down there! I'm not ready for it yet up north...

That would bite..

It's been in the mid/upper 60's here in south texas :)

I lived in Wisconsin until 2 years ago. I live out in So Cal now this reminds me how lucky I am lol

It was abnormally cold here today, as well...it didn't snow, but it definitely could have. It was definitely a terrible day for the school to make us stand outside for 20 minutes for a fire drill...during my gym period, when most of us were just wearing T-shirts and either shorts or thin track pants.

Could be worse, though. The cold is far more preferable to the heat.

Saw this, I luled. My facebook exploded with pics of it. Not to far away from where I live.

We have a nice storm coming this weekend here in Oklahoma. $10 it turns into an ice storm. We always get those. Power goes out for all the old people and they come stay with me.

Please, no ice storm.

Good thing I live in Ann Arbor :D All our snow melted within a few hours.

Ha ha, Spit. I know the gas station you're talking about. We saw it on the front page of the Journal site today.

Just wait - once this melts, Ferguson Park over on Okemos Rd will be flooded.

That is ridiculous! Good thing no one is hurt and hopefully all the gas lines are ok.

Cable there is still snow on the ground here in Ann Arbor. What are you talking about? Weirdo... I almost died walking around today with all the water refreezing though.
