There is a guy on css every so often that said his name is ghostY if you see him plx contact a admin his picture on his account is some triangle thing i did a lot of research.

There is no one named ghostY on this list well there is one named ghosty but he isnt maul verified.

he said it isnt him but it is. he claims he has been in eGO for 3 years and he forgot his username and password but please contact a admin.

Please dont accuse me of doing anything bad, im just sick of hearing people ask me why is there to Ghosty's and it makes me kinda mad.;)
 
The best way to find out if he is in eGO or not would be to open the console with the "~" key and find his Steam ID in the list of names. Copy that down (it should look like: STEAM_0:1:1234567). Only copy the numbers after the last colon (iin this case: 1234567) and go to the search dropdown at the top right of the forums. Enter those numbers into the search and click submit. This will shows all the applications with that Steam ID. If you see him again with tags and are concerned, then yes, ask an admin to look into to make sure whether or not he is a part of eGO.

First of all, Ghosty is a really common name, and I doubt that he's the only one who had it. I also did some research, and he's been playing on the servers since 2009.

This really didn't need a thread when you could easily just contact an admin to go talk to him. He's not an impostor, he's not even using the same form of name as you or anything even close to it except the "Ghosty" part.

If he's not part of eGO, you could always try to properly recruit him, but I doubt he has any bad intentions and I do believe you are seriously overreacting to this situation.

Anyway you can't get mad at someone for having the name ghosty. You have to deal with it... I don't get mad when I see people with the name Muffins so you shouldn't either.
 
It's extremely confusing for me when I see both of them, since one of them whichever the imposter one is, makes his or her name exactly like ghosty's and massive confusion occurs

I don't know what that means man sorry :bored: we do need to take this topic a bit more seriously, it's not like the muffin situation where the name is different, the imposter types it like the real name.
