Idea to pass along to ego staff

seeing as of late alot f hackers and well people beig rude and annoyinon the ego maps.Why nt you make it to where
new recruits sign up and give them a password .This password will let them play on ego maps.

Also put nrecruits on a probation period to see if there for
real or just to cause problems.

this is just a idea to help out.

Reasons why this is idea EPIC FAILS are as follows:

1. Passworded servers = no new recruits.
2. Passworded servers = zero expansion for eGO
3. No expansion for eGO means no new players to replace those who move on.
4. Less people = less donations.
5. Less donations = fewer servers.
6. Fewer servers = more people leaving.
7. Cycle continues until there is almost noone left and one server.
8. eGO dies.

More realistic and concise response: Because that way we would have less people to play with and zero new recruits because they would never play on the servers to get interested.

Not to mention that we now have a sponsor and we want to show them how many people come to our servers.

That is why they agreed to work with us.

And if we decrease in the number of people hitting our server then there will be less of a chance for the sponsor to return, and for us to get more sponsors...

eGO servers are open to everyone so that new people can enter the servers and find the server that they have always been looking for without the swearing or the immature children. Just a fun environment and a laid back group of people. If you lock those people out of your servers you are denying them entry to the place that they most want to go. Also like the person above said, cant recruit on locked servers and cant find new people.

Servers are only passworded for scrims and other scheduled events. The reasons above are pretty much right.

Locked
