Ehh...I would have gone with Army of Two (1 and 2) or Gears of War or Kill.Switch or 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand or like 5 other games this game looks like. L4D is probably not at all similar to this game other than it involves people, guns, and team mechanics.

hmm, I rarely buy new games, but the one that catches my eye the most on the list is Stalker 2. I only have Clear Sky, but I liked the game. I am also interested in Bioshock, but have only seen my brother play the 1st one.

As for other games, Guild Wars 2 has caught my eye. I'm not much of an mmorpg person, but i like the idea of it so far.

HL: (ep) 3. The half-life series I personally enjoyed, and I do laugh at your joke. I do hope they make it (eventually), but until valve releases any info/announcements, its still under a pretty tight seal (or at least they don't like to talk about it)

Not on this list, but I am looking forward to them:
Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online, Diablo 3, MGS: Rising, Dust 514, Armored Core 5, and any future Monster Hunters (ie 4 and 3g).
However, I do certainly care about almost everything that is on this list.

never heard of any of those games except for STALKER and Bioshock.

Not a big fan of Bioschock series tried to get into it but thought it was kind of a stupid plot and story.

Oh yeah, Firefall and Hawken.
Not really caring about HotS, though. I only played SC2 multiplayer, and HotS might not affect that too much. And even then, I only played it for all of six months before stopping...

I tried to go for games that weren't sequels or part of a per-existing franchise or games that people hadn't noticed. Other than BS:I, the list is comprised of games that caught my attention, but weren't being widely talked about.

New #3: The Last of Us

Why you should care: Come tomorrow we'll know a bit more about this game...like whose developing it. So at this point all we know is that it's a post-apochlyptic PS3 exclusive title possibly from Uncharted developer Naughty Dog...which in of itself is more than enough to care about this title. Here's hoping that tomorrow will give us a half-way decent trailer with some information, if it doesn't this might be the Ex-New # 3. So far the somber tone of the teaser trailer is all that piqued my interest.

I remember back when that game was announced and I've been looking forward to it for quite some time. Unfortunatly it's like one of many games that didn't come time mind when I made the list.
