where do i apply for admin

ok well i want to know that and if its here idk but yeah on the rush server no admins were on and i kept telling them to watch there language but they kept doing so this is why i want to apply for admin to stop them from doing it again.

You can get admin by being promoted. If you need an admin, you can contact a member of leadership or an eG or eGO on vent. If you're unable to contact us, please supply a ban request.

4) show that you're a mature person and show you can be calm in situations that can be fustrating

5) NOT try to be an admin when you're not (that will only slow you down)

just follow the above steps and you may be noticed and recomended and as the 6th line says

I disagree with number 5 in a certain respect, he can still warn people.

For the most part just let us do our thing. If you have a conflict or believe something to be different, dispute it through Ventrilo or on the forums through private messages.

Follow the rules, don't be a burden, act mature, take action when needed. If people think you need a promotion or are good material for an admin position, you'll probably get noticed at some point and more than likely receive that promotion. Asking about getting promoted or rather, requesting to become an admin usually doesn't sit well with most people from my understanding. I didn't ask for any of my promotions at all, I just did what I thought was right in terms of our rules and clan representation.

To be quite honest I almost never look to see if someone has donated monetarily to eGO when I consider them for a promotion. I look at the quality of their character, willingness to uphold our rules, and activity as the deciding factors. The size of you wallet in my mind should not affect your chance to get promoted. We do appreciate your donations but do it because you want to and not because you want a promotion.

i have done all that i have been here for 1 year but the forums i try to but sometimes i forgot to go on edge gamers forums and i haven't worried about being promoted i know i am mature enough i stayed calmed while in a frustrated moment like the game i just played (the tournament i was a substitute) and i keep active on bf3 servers. i am active in vent. and i never try to be a admin when i am not.

im broke i dont got any money if i did i would donate every day

Being a team player and active in the community are much more important that trying to play admin when there isn't one on.

Try and get ahold of an admin on ventrilo or on your steam friends list if you're having an issue. The job of an e is to play, enjoy, and get involved in the community. The admin will come in time.

Honestly, my guess is that you haven't been noticed when promotion time comes up. Looking at your posting history, as of right now, you've had about 46 posts since you've joined the forums. During that time, you've have had roughly a 4 month absence, and two 2 month absences between posts on the forums. And you also have one referral to your name.

1) Keep playing the game, and being in vent
2) Help recruit new members (definitely a method to get the attention of leadership. We like to see who our top recruiters are for the division)
3) Make sure you provide your input on the forums.

This may sound like I'm patronizing you, or repeating the same old stuff. Repeating, probably. Patronizing, no. I'm not. Trying to be honest. And being a former DL, each DL has their own method in assessing who gets promoted, and who's not. Personally, forum, vent, and gaming activity gets a person's attention more because we see you more often, and it becomes easier for us to remember your name. When we remember your name, you can guess who we'll remember when it's time for promotions in the division.

P.S. Also having people submit drop box posts for promo recommendations doesn't hurt either. But woe to the person who attempts to bribes or get a bunch of friends to submit these recommendations without really being qualified. We will always remember that attempt and will kill any possibility of promoting you, in ours or any other division.

idk how it works here but in TF2 I got promoted w/o asking for one. I was genuinely surprised b/c I wasn't much in Vent and had played with them for 3 months at max...and I thought "suerly they've got better people to promote than me?" But I was in one of the eGO servers a lot...it is literally the only server I play in...I genuinely love it. Also I was decently active in forum.
