It's called warp speed, and it allows you to travel faster than light by different magnitudes (warp 9 being the highest). Jeez

Plus the fact that a child born in space would most definitely not have the same build or body mass as a child born on earth. Gravity has an effect. Yes, it is, in theory possible, but realistically, when they got there, the people would not even have strong enough muscles to be able to breath, let alone walk properly.
 
:O Now aliens are going to invade Earth so everyone will have to go to this new planet. :scared:

With our current rockets, which travel around 10 km per second, it would take around... 18 million years to get there, or 18,000,000 years. Good luck.
