Totally agree. I bought my G500 about a year and a half ago, and I absolutely love it. Still going strong.

I like the Logitech G500. It's easily the best mouse I've ever used. It is incredibly accurate and precise.

Just bought a G700 for $50 and it is awesome. Wireless is a great feature to have and works perfectly. Plug it in when it needs to and keep using.

I believe it is 6 feet for the wire.

As for a left-handed gaming mouse, I think Razer makes some, but I'm not sure.

I use a HP Laser Gaming Mouse with Voodoo DNA $40 at wall-mart I got mine at frys 2 years ago for like $60. I have large hands and I play with the tips of my fingers. If I was you goto your local frys in NC and see what feels right in your hand.
