I was browsing the internet today and discovered this website.

It offers gamers a way to actually make money playing a game.

You make money in the game, then convert it to real life money.

No joke, check it out: http://bit.ly/s4BKPg

-What do you guys think about this system, will it work?

"You can buy and sell everything, including other players"

I dont like this at all =/

Thats crazy... and against some law which I cant recall lol

What you should do:

Move to South Korea
Play Starcraft 2 forever
???
Profit!

It, and dozens like it, exist. I find it interesting that this one doesn't exactly explain how their system works before you sign u for an account (and get some of your personal information).

My opinion:
1) Pyramid scheme possibly
2) Scam
3) Pass

To answer question about making money from games, you can be a game tester. There was just a job up around Washington, 2 days, 6 hrs a day, free pizza, $200 pay afterwards. I believe this was a study into gamers, but still, you're paid to play games.

There are also other games or online mediums that allow you to convert in-game, virtual currency into real money. When that happens, you need to also read up on the conversion rate, fees, and other things that may be involved.

"Second Life" is a video game where you can make real money, on the contrary you can also lose real money. It works as a video game where all in-game money is actually real money. So 1 dollar in-game might be 1 cent in real life (not sure conversion rate). Anyway if you actually were addicted to that game and made a lot of in-game money, you could transfer it to real money and make some dough. However this game is based around that, and games like WoW or CoD or BF3 don't have the capacity to make money off of without breaking terms of service.

Just go play Diablo 3 and farm epic gear and sell them for RL cash.

It's roughly an 11-1 conversion rate, for $11 Lindon dollars you get $1 USD, less fees. And people who make a living off of that game are definitely in the minority, but they do exist. You will have to first invest money into it before making money from it, and even then, the average user may only earn $50/mo after conversion and fees, which funds their in-game spending, and account payments.

Fake the application and see how it goes? Couldn't hurt, right?
